Overview

Product Tools LLC operates ReloMaps (relomaps.com), including ReloMaps in ChatGPT. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data.

What We Collect

Most of ReloMaps can be used without an account. Depending on how you use it, we collect:

  • Account data: your email address and how you sign in (email code or Google), if you create an account.
  • Purchase records: what you bought and your credit balance. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
  • Searches and lookups: the places you search for and the addresses or listing links you ask us to research, and the property reports you own.
  • Usage and device data: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit, collected in server logs and analytics. To apply monthly lookup limits we keep a count of lookups tied to your account, or to a one-way hash of your IP address if you are not signed in.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, if you subscribe.
  • Cookies: as described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect government identifiers, health information, or your precise device location.

How We Use It

  • To provide ReloMaps: run your searches, build and deliver reports, and keep your account working
  • To process purchases and apply your credits and plan limits
  • To send sign-in codes, receipts and, if you subscribed, our newsletter
  • To understand how ReloMaps is used and improve it
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations

Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data where it is necessary to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract), where we have your consent, where it is in our legitimate interests (such as security and improving the service), and where the law requires it.

Who We Share It With

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run ReloMaps, and only what each needs for its job:

  • Hosting, security and storage (Vultr, Cloudflare, Supabase): run the site, protect it from attacks, store account data and encrypted backups.
  • Payments (Stripe): process purchases.
  • Email (Resend, beehiiv): deliver sign-in codes and receipts, and the newsletter if you subscribed.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics): measure site usage.
  • Mapping, address and property data providers (such as Google Maps Platform, Geoapify, the U.S. Census Bureau and Apify): receive the addresses and places you look up so we can locate them and gather report data. They do not receive your name or email.
  • AI providers (OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to): receive place and property data, not your account details, to write report text.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public, and to a successor if our business is sold or merged.

ReloMaps in ChatGPT

When you use ReloMaps from ChatGPT, ChatGPT sends our server only the requests it makes on your behalf. We receive and use:

  • The request itself — for example a place name, search filters, or a property address or listing link you ask about. Addresses you ask us to research are handled the same way as address lookups on our website.
  • An anonymous ChatGPT user identifier, which we store only as a one-way hash, to apply usage limits.
  • If you connect your ReloMaps account: a record of the connection (which app, when it was connected and last used) and sign-in tokens, which we store only in hashed form. These let ChatGPT see your credits and monthly lookups, view your property reports and order reports you confirm.

We do not receive your ChatGPT conversation, your ChatGPT account details or your location, and ChatGPT never receives your payment details. We do not use data from ChatGPT for advertising. See also ReloMaps in ChatGPT help.

How Long We Keep It

  • Account data, owned reports, credit history and usage counts: until you delete your account, then deleted immediately.
  • Connected apps (such as ChatGPT): until you disconnect the app or delete your account. ChatGPT's access expires within one hour of disconnecting.
  • Lookup counts for visitors who are not signed in (hashed IP address or hashed ChatGPT identifier): 13 months.
  • Server and security logs: 90 days.
  • Backups: up to 12 months, after which they are deleted automatically.
  • Purchase records: kept by Stripe as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you delete your account.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Place and property reports are part of the ReloMaps database and may be kept after you delete your account, but they are no longer linked to you.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Delete your account at any time in your account settings.
  • Disconnect ChatGPT or other apps in your account settings under Connected apps.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.
  • Manage cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict how we use it, by emailing us at the address below. We respond within 30 days.

Children

ReloMaps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

International Data Transfers

We process data in the United States. If you use ReloMaps from another region, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from yours.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
